Brown ground meat with onion and garlic.
Add spices, tomatoes with juice, tomato paste and. Stir until well mixed.
Cover and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.
Grease a 13 x 9" baking pan (depending on how deep, you may need 2 pans)
Combine the ricotta, eggs, pepper, parmesan, two tablespoons parsley, and 1/2 1b of mozzarella cheese.
Spread a layer of meat sauce in baking pan, then cheese mixture, then noodles. Repeat additional layers until done.
Top off with a layer of noodles; sprinkle evenly with remaining mozzarella cheese, covering noodles completely.
Cover pan with foil and bake at 375° for 40 minutes.
Remove foil and continue to bake for another 15-20 minutes.
Remove from oven and let sit for 15-20 minutes before cutting and serving.
